K's Trailer Parts and Service is truly an incredible business with top-notch customer service.
I'm a professional musician in a full-time touring outfit. Life on the road as a band is already pretty tough, but there are some days that are truly horrible. We recently had one of those days. We were one hour into our 9 hour drive to Cheyenne from Sioux Falls, SD when the rear shackle link on our trailer's left equalizer broke. (I had no idea what any of those things were more than a week ago.) We had 8 hours left to drive and our scheduled arrival time was already half an hour past the time that the production staff requested we be there for load in. Our show the day after Cheyenne was in Park City, and there was no way in hell we were going to drive a broken trailer into any kind of mountains; we're honestly kind of surprised we ever even made it to Cheyenne, and that was driving through plains. We thought we might have to cancel our Park City show and maybe even the one after that, but K's really came through.
I was on the phone with a man named Wes over and over throughout the day. Wes and the techs at K's were able to help identify the problem over the phone and with texted photos, put together an order of replacement parts, take my order over the phone, and have the order ready for pickup at pretty much a moment's notice. Seriously, I was probably on the phone with him 10 times over the course of that day, in and out of cell service, and the whole time, he was super kind and helpful. I think he probably lowered my blood pressure 30 points that day. The folks at K's really came through for us in a big way. Without their help, we would've had our first ever show cancellation! We can't thank them enough. These folks know their trailers and are really just amazing.
They took great care of us. Got our trailer fixed and back on the road. Extremely fair price and great people to deal with. Thanks from your Ohio hunters!
"Awesome customer orientated owner!! Took our monster 28K lb triple axle 5th wheel in, for two wheels that were wearing badly. They ran all sorts of tests, took different measurements and spent an hour on the phone with Morryde. No one could pinpoint the problem, so after 2 hours, the owner said I can't fix it, No Charge! Problem isn't solved but instead of charging for time in his bay, he did the right thing for the customer."
"I believe the quality of the experience I had at K's. Nightmare problem on a trailer as we dragged it behind a box truck for miles on a flat until the rim was gone and half the hub worn off. The entire staff helped us, professional and proudly until we found a solution. Due to covid parts were just not available. Frankly there was no excuses just unrelenting professional service until the problem was resolved. Everything that could have possibly been done was offered as a normal way to approach business. "We highly recommend K's Trailer Repair. We stopped by and asked for assistance. We explained problem. They were booked solid for following two weeks. We were asked to bring the trailer by and they would look at and see if quick fix. We went back with the trailer. Bill and another tech (name escapes me) came out and looked at the hitch. They immediately saw the issue and resolved it very quickly. Customer service is excellent and everyone is so kind. We have had them do other work done for us in the past and have received the same great service each and every.time."
"I had a bearing failure on East bound I-80 15 miles west of Cheyenne. Quick Google search turned up K's. I cut the trailer off and headed into town. The minute I walked in the gal behind the counter cleared me a spot to lay my burned up hub. Within a few minutes she had me a new hub and bearings. I asked if they'd mind packing the bearings for me real quick to which the fella took it in the back, packed the bearings, installed the seal, and wrapped it up. When I got back to the trailer I was back rolling in 30 minutes. Quick, more than fair on price, knowledgeable, and most of all accommodating. Thanks folks!"
